HR Solutions
Focused HR Solutions. Built for Your Business.
Not every HR need requires an ongoing engagement.
Alongside the partnership models under How I Help, Trimaren offers defined, project-based solutions for companies that need a specific piece of their people infrastructure built or strengthened. Each combines experienced HR judgment with proven frameworks, built for the business you have today with an eye toward what comes next.
Employee Handbooks
A Handbook Built Around Your Organization
An employee handbook should do more than assemble required policies. It should reflect how your company operates, establish clear expectations, support consistent people practices, and provide employees and managers with a practical resource they can use.
I develop each handbook around the organization's workforce, operating practices, employee locations, and stage of growth, built on attorney-developed content that is kept current with employment law for applicable employment policies and requirements.
Single-State Employee Handbook
Designed for companies whose employees are primarily located in one state. The engagement may include review of current practices and existing policies, development of the core handbook, applicable state-specific provisions, and a final handbook prepared for implementation.
Multi-State Employee Handbook
Designed for companies with employees across multiple states and a more complex policy environment. I develop a consistent core handbook and incorporate appropriate state-specific policies or addenda based on the company's workforce footprint and operating practices.
Policy Development
Practical Policies for the Way Your Company Operates
As organizations grow, informal practices often need to become clear and consistent policies.
I develop individual policies or policy packages that reflect how the organization operates while addressing applicable employment requirements. Projects may include the development or modernization of policies related to remote and hybrid work, paid time off, leaves, employee conduct, workplace expectations, performance, compensation practices, and other employment practices. Where appropriate, the work is supported by attorney-developed policy content and tailored to the company's workforce, practices, and needs.

Create Clarity Around Roles, Responsibilities, and Expectations
Clear job descriptions support better hiring, compensation, performance management, organizational design, and employee development.
I develop or refresh job descriptions to create consistency across the organization and align roles with what the business actually needs. Engagements can range from developing an individual critical role to a broader company-wide job description initiative. For organizations requiring greater structure, the work can expand to include job families, levels, titles, and foundational job architecture.

Build a Recruiting Engine You Can Continue to Use
Hiring shouldn't require reinventing the process every time a position opens.
I build the recruiting infrastructure growing companies need to hire consistently and effectively while creating a strong candidate experience. Solutions may include recruiting process and workflow, role intake and hiring planning, job descriptions, interview structure, interview guides and scorecards, candidate evaluation practices, recruiting tools and templates, applicant tracking system guidance, offer and approval processes, and onboarding handoff. The result is a practical recruiting framework that leadership and hiring managers can continue to use as the company grows.
Build Your Recruiting FoundationRecruiting & Placement
When You Need the Hire Made, Not Just the Process Built
Sometimes a company doesn't need to build a recruiting engine. It needs the right person in a critical role, and it needs someone who understands the science to go find them.
For select engagements, I take on the search directly. I partner with leadership to define the role, source and evaluate candidates, manage the process end to end, and place the hire. Because I work inside life sciences, I understand the roles, the credentials, and what strong looks like in a scientific and regulated environment. This is hands-on recruiting led by an experienced HR leader, not a resume pipeline.
Deliverable:
Placement is offered on a flat, transparent fee agreed up front, not a percentage of salary. You know the cost before the search begins.
HR Assessment
Understand What You Have, What You Need, and What Comes Next
For companies that have grown quickly, are preparing for their next stage, or simply aren't sure whether their HR infrastructure is keeping pace, an HR assessment provides a clear view of the current state.
I review key areas of the HR function and organizational infrastructure, identify gaps and priorities, and develop a practical roadmap based on the company's stage and anticipated growth. The assessment may include HR operations and systems, policies and compliance, talent acquisition and onboarding, compensation and benefits, performance management, employee relations, organizational structure, leadership and management practices, and workforce planning.
Deliverable:
A prioritized roadmap identifying immediate needs, emerging risks, and recommended next steps.
Trimaren provides HR infrastructure and policy content supported by attorney-developed resources. It does not provide legal advice or legal representation. We recommend final review by your own counsel where appropriate.
Need Something Else?
A Defined Need Doesn't Always Fit a Defined Package.
These solutions represent common needs for growing life sciences companies, but every organization is different. If you have a specific HR or organizational initiative that isn't listed here, we can define the scope, deliverables, and approach around what the business needs.
For broader or ongoing needs, Trimaren also provides fractional and interim HR leadership, strategic advisory, and project-based engagements.
